2017 Queen West Art Crawl!
For years I've always wanted to participate in the Queen West Art Crawl and when I got the acceptance email in May I was beyond thrilled and anticipated the show for the next few months. When the weekend came and the car was rented and loaded with work, I was nervous, but certainly excited. I could not have done it without the help of my boyfriend who helped install my work and ran around finding me food and water (it felt like 40 degrees!) Most years its rained during the art fair but this year, the heat brought crowds to the park. I met so many incredibly kind people who really admired my work. It made my day when people understood my work and felt a personal connection with it. The favourites of the weekend were Despacito, Take All of Me and Heere's Johnny! Thank you to everyone who came out in the heat to view the work of 200 artists and those who entered my tent! Cant wait until my next show!
