Canada 150 Montreal Trip!

About 2 weeks ago, from Friday June 30th to July 3rd I took a trip with my boyfriend Jarvis to Montreal for the Canada Day long weekend. As we were in Quebec, the birthplace of poutine, we had to order the classic poutine from La Belle Province.

Another famous Montreal spot was of course the Notre-Dame Basilica. Unfortunately it was closed but we were at least able to admire the beauty from outside!

Before the Canada Day fireworks we walked around Old Montreal and stumbled upon the tapas bar, Santos. It’s in an incredible building and it has a great atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. It’s here where I’ve probably had the best mojito I’ve ever had.

Since it was Canada Day, we of course had to cheers on a couple ceasars.

The next night, we finished off our trip with La La Land in Concert. This was actually the reason why we made the trip out here, we both love the film and enjoy watching films with a full piece orchestra. It was a beautiful performance, definitely my highlight of the trip.
